Avoid fad diets

There are too many to list here, but you’ve probably come across many of them. Frequently touted as ‘eat all you like of this and that and lose a stone in 2 weeks’, the bottom line with them is that either they only work short term, if they do work, or when you look at them a bit closer, the foods suggested will mean that you eat less anyway, so the weight loss will have come from restricting calories!
